Grants means specified government grants that are
made available to community or business groups that
meet the specified criteria for funding under the relevant
legislation and/or regulation. Examples of grants include
Tertiary Education Commission funding of industry
training and Modern Apprenticeship Programmes,
Lotteries Grant, Community Organisation Grant. Grants
do not include beneficiary payments, ACC payments or
other similar payments to individuals.
Grants are typified by payment in return for the delivery
of a product or service usually to the community, and
which the government agency will monitor, evaluate,
and report on.

or services covered by a specific grant.

information in relation to the administration of a specific grant.

Processes are developed for monitoring and evaluating the administration of a
specific grant in accordance with the provisions of relevant legislation, regulations,
agreements, and protocols.
