People credited with this unit standard are able to: receive hide processing products; handle products to meet hide processing requirements; assemble and load products for dispatch; demonstrate team-work; and comply with organisational and statutory hygiene and safety requirements. Range completed includes but is not limited to – timeliness, accuracy, legibility. 1.4 Products are handled in accordance with handling instructions displayed on external surfaces and organisational requirements. 1.5 Products are unloaded and placed in accordance with organisational requirements. Range unloading and placement include but are not limited to – location, equipment, stability, height, configuration, quality, health and safety, process requirements. 1.6 Any damaged products are handled and segregated in accordance with organisational requirements. 1.7 Communication with delivery personnel and company staff is clear, effective and carried out in accordance with organisational requirements. Outcome 2 Handle products to meet hide processing requirements. This unit standard is Loading, transport, stacking, and unloading of raw and treated hide processing products and processingexpiring materials meet organisational requirements. Evidence requirements 2.1 2.2 Communication is maintained with production personnel to maintain and improve process quality and product throughput. 2.3 Empty pallets and containers are stacked and stored in accordance with organisational requirements. Evidence requirements 3.1 Products for dispatch are assembled and recorded in accordance with organisational requirements. Range 3.2 includes but is not limited to – accuracy, handling requirements, timeliness, health and safety. Products for dispatch are loaded in accordance with organisational requirements. Range includes but is not limited to – weight, methods, load stability and covering, driver adjustment request procedures, health and safety, communication, documentation. Outcome 4 Demonstrate team-work. Evidence requirements 4.1 The quality and completeness of tasks meet the operational requirements of downstream co-workers. 4.2 Communication and feedback are provided to and requested from co-workers to maintain and improve task and product quality. 4.3 Co-workers are not endangered through the operator's methods and equipment. 4.4 This unit standard is Co-worker assistance is provided within the confines of product flow and operator availability. expiring 4.5 Machinery, equipment, and facility malfunctions are identified and reported in accordance with organisational requirements. 4.6 Conflict resolution techniques are applied to minimise interpersonal differences with co-workers that may adversely affect team performance.
