People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of: product pre-packing procedures; and product packing procedures on completion of industrial textile fabric product work. Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Demonstrate knowledge of product pre-packing procedures. Evidence requirements 1.1 Workplace product inspection procedures are described in accordance with company requirements. Range 1.2 final measurement check against job specifications, seam and hem checks, flaws in the fabric, fasteners and fittings operate to manufacturer specifications, customer requirements, cleanliness. Laying out and marking faults are described in accordance with job specifications and company requirements. Outcome 2 Demonstrate knowledge of product packing procedures on completion of industrial textile fabric product work. Evidence requirements 2.1 Materials used for packaging are identified in accordance with company requirements. 2.2 Methods for packing workplace products are described in accordance with company requirements. Range 2.3 freighted, delivery by company, picked up by customer. Procedures for recording and labelling packages for dispatch are described in accordance with company requirements.
