This unit standard is for experienced people wishing to develop
their technical skills in leather manufacture.
People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate
knowledge of: chemicals used for, and objectives of, leather
finishing; leather finishing methods and equipment; and leather
finishing performance testing.

method and how test criteria define suitability for purpose.

adhesion, flexibility, heat resistance, water penetration.
