Purpose
This unit standard is for people who work in the motor industry.
Those credited with this unit standard are able to: demonstrate
knowledge of a hydraulic body jack and attachments; use a
hydraulic body jack and attachments; and maintain a hydraulic
body jack and attachments.

attachments is identified according to company guidelines and manufacturer's
specifications.

2.1
Attachments are fitted to the jack according to company guidelines and

to company guidelines.
2.3
Positions and angles where jack is to be positioned are identified according to
vehicle manufacturer's specifications and company guidelines.
2.4
Body jack and attachments are used according to company guidelines, there is
no additional body damage, and body dimensions are according to vehicle
manufacturer's specifications.
2.5
Body jack and attachments are clean and put away in their place and the work
area is clean.
2.6
Safe working practices are carried out throughout the task.
