Reinforcing machine is selected and set up for fabrication.

changeover procedure, pre-start check, adjustment of settings.
1.3
Required materials are selected and assembled in accordance with workplace
practice.
1.4
A sample is produced to ensure compliance with specifications, and any
required adjustments are made in accordance with workplace practice.
Outcome 2
Fabricate reinforcing cages by machine.
Evidence requirements
2.1
Machine is loaded with raw materials in accordance with manufacturer’s
recommendations and workplace practice.
2.2
Production run is initiated and monitored to ensure product conforms to
specifications, and any required actions to maintain tolerances are taken in
accordance with workplace practice.
2.3
Product is removed from machine at end of cycle and checked to ensure
compliance with specifications in accordance with workplace practice.
2.4
Any required spacers or nibs are checked and confirmed as in place in
accordance with specifications.
2.5
Any required actions to ensure finished product’s compliance with specifications
are taken in accordance with workplace practice.
Outcome 3
Complete work operations.
Evidence requirements
3.1
All operations are safely completed, workplace and equipment are cleaned in
accordance with workplace practice and environmental safety requirements,
and routine maintenance is carried out in accordance with workplace practice.
3.2
All documentation is completed in accordance with workplace practice.
