Outcome 1
Prepare for tapping.
Evidence requirements
1.1
Taphole and launders are prepared in accordance with company documentation
to enable tapping schedule to be achieved.
Range
1.2

Equipment is checked to reduce the possibility of equipment malfunction during
tapping in accordance with company documentation.

accordance with company documentation.

Iron and slag are tapped in accordance with company documentation.

times.

Tapped iron meets company requirements for slag content.
2.3
Temperature tests meet company documentation requirements for timing and
method.
2.4
Slag and iron samples sent to the laboratory meet technical process
specifications.
