Evidence requirements
1.1
Each line and pen of stock is inspected in a consistent pattern that meets
organisational requirements.
1.2
Sheep breeds, types, sexes, ages and approximate carcass weights are
identified in accordance with organisational requirements.
1.3
Wool coverage of each line is identified in accordance with organisational
requirements.

woolly, shorn, crutched, top-knotched, belly crutched.
1.4
Physical examination of each line is in accordance with organisational
requirements.
1.5
Wool condition is examined and identified in accordance with organisational
requirements.
Range
colour, length, yield, variations of type and length within line,
contamination, abnormalities.

Skin contamination and abnormalities are identified in accordance with
organisational requirements.
1.7
Double inspections, missed lines and inconsistent comparisons between lines
are avoided.

Wool assessment records are completed, communicated and filed in
accordance with organisational requirements.

Wool pull records for individual clients are maintained in accordance with

Stock is moved and handled humanely with minimal force, speed and noise.
4.2
Stock is not subjected to cruelty, pain, injury, overcrowding or unnecessary
stress through the operator's methods, dogs or equipment.

Techniques for catching, restraining and examining individual animals meet
organisational and statutory requirements.
4.4
Pen cleanliness and stock water supplies meet organisational and statutory
requirements.
4.5
Injured, unhealthy and weak animals are reported, handled and treated in
accordance with organisational and statutory requirements.
4.6
Sources of potential injury or stress to animals are reported in accordance with
organisational and statutory requirements.

Company supplied clothing, and hygiene and safety equipment are worn and
used in accordance with organisational and statutory requirements.
6.2
Work methods comply with specified organisational and statutory requirements
to minimise the risk of product contamination and injuries to the operator and
others.
6.3
Unsafe and unhygienic conditions are identified and reported to supervisory
staff in accordance with organisational requirements.
6.4
Equipment, operator and work area cleanliness complies with organisational
and statutory requirements.
