People credited with this unit standard are able to: – explain the key features in a house that may contribute towards an efficient, comfortable, healthy residential property; and – assess and report on the efficiency, comfort and health of a given house for residential property marketing. Industry practice refers to activities of experienced, competent property management personnel which are in accordance with the Code of Practice and the Residential Tenancies Act 1986. 3 Assessment This unit standard must be assessed on the basis of evidence of demonstrated performance in the workplace or in simulated work situations designed to draw upon similar performance to that required in the workplace.
