Describe the reasons for e-government web guidelines for agency websites.
Range
may include but is not limited to – standards, guidance, tips, and
strategic advice on effectively using the online channel;
evidence of two is required.

Access the government portal and obtain information from three separate
sources.

Access own agency website via the government portal and obtain specific
information.

may include but is not limited to – on-line forms, policy information,
annual report information;
evidence of two is required.
Outcome 2
Describe legal and other issues in relation to use of information from government and own
agency internet and intranet websites.
Evidence requirements
2.1
Describe how legislation affects the use of information from government and
agency websites, and internal agency intranets.

Identify why authentication of individual identity is necessary prior to accessing
data through Government and agency websites and internal agency intranets.

Evidence requirements
3.1
Describe the purpose and general content of the agency website and intranet in
terms of its applicability and usefulness to the intended users.
3.2
Explain how clients are guided and assisted in the use of the agency website.
3.3
Access the agency website and intranet and obtain information.

Providers must be granted consent to assess against standards (accredited) by NZQA,
before they can report credits from assessment against unit standards or deliver courses

Industry Training Organisations must be granted consent to assess against standards by
NZQA before they can register credits from assessment against unit standards.
Providers and Industry Training Organisations, which have been granted consent and
which are assessing against unit standards must engage with the moderation system that
applies to those standards.
