This unit standard is for people working in the resin flooring
sector of the industry.
People credited with this unit standard are able to describe the
composition and purpose of resin flooring products, and the
installation and performance of resin flooring products.

subsequent amendments.

Definitions
Workplace procedures are all authorised instructions, processes and work practices
carried out in the workshop, factory, shop and worksite.
Resin flooring products refer to epoxy, polyester, vinylester, polymethylmethacrylate
(MMA), polyurethane, engineered cements, acrylics, polyureas.

Describe the composition and purpose of resin flooring products.
Evidence requirements
1.1
The description identifies resin flooring products’ components in accordance
with manufacturers’ specifications.
Range
resin flooring products include but are not limited to – resins,
fillers, catalysts, hardeners, additives.

flooring products in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications and
workplace procedures.
