Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Prepare to produce illustration and advertising graphics. Evidence requirements 1.1 Problems presented in the brief are identified. 1.2 Information gathered and collated addresses the problems identified. Outcome 2 Develop the initial rough visuals. Evidence requirements 2.1 Thumbnail sketches produce concept design ideas for solving the problems. 2.2 Developed visuals express design ideas for solving the problems. Evidence requirements 3.1 Media selected are determined by the needs of the final design. 3.2 Application of the selected graphic techniques communicates the design. 3.3 Graphic work is completed to meet final design requirements in readiness for reproduction. Outcome 4 Evaluate finished illustration and advertising graphics, and make any necessary amendments. Evidence requirements 4.1 Information is checked for accuracy, and any corrections needed are identified. 4.2 Design is evaluated in relation to the requirements of the brief, and any needed modifications are identified. 4.3 Final graphics are modified, where necessary, to meet the requirements of the brief.
