This unit standard is for people who are employed as milk
collection operators and who are required to carry out their
tasks as sole operators.
People credited with this unit standard are able to: explain
cleaning methods and processes used for cleaning milk
tankers, apply cleaning systems to cleaning milk tankers, in a

2.1
A clean-in-place (CIP) programme sequence is described in terms of
organisational requirements.

2.2
A CIP system for cleaning milk tankers is implemented in accordance with
organisational requirements.
2.3
The cleaning system is monitored to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of
milk tankers in accordance with organisational requirements.
2.4
Any areas of non-compliance are identified and rectified or reported in
accordance with organisational requirements.
