1.2 Demonstration includes identification of aspects of diversity that have relevance in a workplace.

Range aspects may include but are not limited to – language, humour, food, cultural practices.

Demonstrate knowledge of practices by which a union representative can support workplace diversity.

Evidence requirements

2.1 Demonstration identifies ways to support diversity with regard to communications, workplace practices, strategies for inclusion.

2.2 Demonstration identifies ways a union representative can support employee diversity.

Range may include but is not limited to – support in cases related to diversity, cultural respect, own behaviour, role model; evidence is required for three ways.
