Pattern – a repetitive motif or
design… repeated formal elements in
a composition… motif= a distinctive and recurring
form, shape, figure, etc., in a design, as in a painting
or on wallpaper.

gluestick (or small bottle of Elmer’s glue)
1 (or more) magazine (s) with lots of color photos –
People magazine, sports, home and garden, general
interest, or fashion magazines would work great for
this. Choose magazines you don’t mind cutting up.
a cardstock viewfinder (This should be made from
an old file folder or any thin cardboard material that
is a solid color – no patterns. It must be a 6” x 6” flat
square with a 2” square cut out in the center.
