CHAPTER V
EDUCATIONAL SERVICES
Introduction
The policies contained in this chapter of the Manual are designed to encourage each College to
become an institution with a unique character and instructional emphasis.
5.02 Special Projects
All proposals for special programs and projects, involving requests for financial assistance from
outside funding sources such as governmental agencies, foundations or special organizations, shall
be approved by the Chancellor prior to submission of a formal application to such outside groups.
This shall also apply to those proposals where Peralta is a partner and not the requesting agency. The
Chancellor is authorized to accept funds and enter into contracts for special funded programs and
projects up to $100,000.
