People credited with this unit standard are able to: establish purchasing requirements for aviation parts and/or materials and/or services; monitor order progress; and complete purchasing actions. Enterprise procedures also include the applicable procedures found in the following: enterprise exposition; manufacturer publications; Government and local body legislation; airworthiness authority requirements. 2 Aviation parts and/or materials referred to in this unit standard are those that require evidence of authenticity and traceability to the manufacturer prior to their release for use on aircraft. 3 Services referred to in this unit standard are those that require evidence that the provider is qualified and approved. Evidence requirements 1.1 Purchasing requirements are established from inventory history in accordance with enterprise procedures. Range 1.4 Purchase orders are raised with selected vendor in accordance with enterprise procedures. Outcome 2 Monitor order progress. Evidence requirements 2.1 Order progress is established in accordance with enterprise procedures. 2.2 Follow-up action for discrepant orders is taken in accordance with enterprise procedures. 2.3 Changes to orders and/or delivery methods are negotiated in accordance with enterprise procedures. Evidence requirements 3.1 Purchasing documentation is completed in accordance with enterprise procedures. documentation – purchase orders, order confirmations, receipt advice, stock lists.
