Requesting an Update on Measure E and A
The Planning and Budgeting Council on March 25, 2011 unanimously passed the following motion
regarding an update on Measure E and A:
“The Planning and Budgeting Council requests that the Vice Chancellor of General Services
provide accurate paper based data regarding Measure E and A to include: what is available in each,
what is remaining in each, how much interest there is in each, how the interest is being used, as well
as a specific focus on technology and facilities.”
Please include the following information:
 Amount allocated in each account, detailed by location
 Amount remaining unspent, detailed by location
 Interest earned to date
 Projected interest earnings
 Itemization of how the interest is being utilized
 Itemization of total amounts allocated for technology, detailed by location
 Itemization of total amounts allocated for facilities/capital improvements, by location.
The Planning and Budgeting Council are requesting that this information be provided prior to its
next scheduled meeting (April 29, 2011). In addition, please send all documents electronically to
VC of Finance Gerhard , Dr. Karolyn van Putten (co-chair of the PBC), Linda Sanford (facilitator)
and Dr. Joseph Bielanski (facilitator).
