Whakaraupapa Whakairo unit standards.

aoteatea whakairo and identify the function of aoteatea.

Mana Whakairo
Tikanga and kawa that underpin the standards in the domain Mana Whakairo relate
to specific interpretations and understandings of whakapapa, te reo, symbolism,
concepts and representation; and in a whakairo context are quite specific and
therefore distinctive from tikanga and kawa in the broader context of Te Ao Māori
whānui.

iwi traditions.

patterns of behaviour that concur with hapū or iwi traditions.

or iwi traditions.

Aoteatea is analysed to understand the nature of natural phenomena in the
traditional Māori world that concur with hapū or iwi traditions.
