Explain consumer rights in relation to racism in the marketplace.
Evidence requirements
1.1
The explanation details legislation which provides protection to consumers
affected by racism in the marketplace.
1.2
The explanation identifies the roles and powers of organisations which provide
support and assistance to consumers affected by racism.
1.3
The description details rights and processes to have those rights recognised.
Outcome 2
Explain consumer rights in relation to recognition of particular needs of Māori in the market
place.
Evidence requirements
2.1
The explanation details those Māori values and beliefs that make Māori a
distinct group of consumers within the marketplace.

before they can report credits from assessment against unit standards or deliver courses
of study leading to that assessment.
Industry Training Organisations must be granted consent to assess against standards by
NZQA before they can register credits from assessment against unit standards.
Providers and Industry Training Organisations, which have been granted consent and
which are assessing against unit standards must engage with the moderation system that
applies to those standards.
