Explanatory notes
1
This unit standard may be used to award credit for the achievement of learning
outcomes consistent with Technology in the New Zealand Curriculum (Learning
Media Wellington, 1995).

This unit standard relates to the design sketches and working drawings for simple
domestic and small scale commercial architectural projects.
3
Final drawings should comply, as and when applicable, with standards convention
NZ/AS1100 and local authority building codes of practice.

Drawings are modified, where necessary, to meet design, presentation, and
construction requirements.
4.3
Arrangement and presentation of drawings suits the requirements of the
intended audience, and includes titling, supporting information, and mounting.
