School Quality Enhancement Plan (SQEP) School Quality Enhancement Plans address objectives, their source(s), intended outcomes, actions, responsibilities and progress which relate to academic standards and quality matters as they affect the School as a whole. Following consideration by appropriate committees in the School the SQEP is submitted as a component section of the Annual Local Plan submitted by each School to the Executive Team Planning Group in May/June each year as part of the annual planning cycle. The precise nature and format if the SQEP will be influenced by the requirements of Annual Local Planning as determined from time to time by the Planning Group. As with the Subject Annual Self Evaluation Reports however, the SQEP should represent a synthesis of the major, common and recurring themes, arising from earlier stage of annual monitoring and elsewhere (for example external environment opportunities or issues) with which whole School or significant parts of the School need to engage. These may be issues that need to be addressed or good practice that needs to be shared across the School and indeed the wider University. The SQEP should focus on the issues and developments which affect the School as a whole and should not significantly repeat or summarise each and every issue arising from Subject, or Programme, level evaluations and plans. Fewer actions, both to address issues and to promote good practice, which result in success are better than too many actions that are not progressed. SCHOOL QUALITY ENHANCEMENT PLAN 2015-16 TO INFORM ACTIONS FOR 2015/16 (where practicable) and 2016/17 Whilst the template provides information regarding the Quality Code Part B Chapters, it is not intended that each section needs to be populated but in some cases there may be multiple entries for some sections. Fewer actions, both to address issues and to promote good practice, which result in success is better than too many actions that are not progressed.
