Our mission is to cultivate a world-class botanic garden through fundraising and advocacy. Note that grant requests typically require all board members to financially donate to The Friends. Buy two tickets to one of our fundraising events and sell four additional tickets to the event. Events currently cost between $40 and $75 a ticket depending on the event you choose. Aggressively work to sign up one new corporate sponsor every year. 4. You must dedicate five to ten hours a month to prepare for, and attend quarterly board meetings, committee meetings and special events (typically three per year) for a board term of 3 years?
