Accounts: For the course, you will need at least two account. One is the for the computer lab. Find your
user name from the computer lab Web site. The password is the last 6 digits of your SID, e.g. if your SID
is 980-12-3456, your password would be 123456 (with no hyphen). You will create a Live.com account. If
you have a hotmail account, you may use that login information for Live.co account.

Before the Second Day: Get your Login ID for the computer lab. If you are new to Excel, do an Excel
preview. If you like, you may download, download Office 2013 and install it on your computer. We will
use Excel 2013 for the course.
In addition:

Unless you want to use your Hotmail (or Live or Outlook) account, create a Live.com account. Be
sure recording the login information above.

Bring the data on paper with you to the class in Week 2. Get data of two favorite wines using the
following categories: -Wine Name
-Vineyard/Winery
-Variety -Vintage
-Color
Sweet or Dry - Country of Origin -Region -Serving Instructions
-Percent Alcohol
- Market Value per Bottle
- Bottle Size
-Notes
You can get detail data from the Web site of the winery. We will enter the data into Excel in class.
