Objective: I will be able to apply my knowledge of the rhetorical appeals to real world examples
1. Warm Up: Reciprocal Pronouns
2. Rhetorical Appeals Practice (minor grade- in class)
3. Introduce Fallacies and Fallacy Depiction Assignment (minor grade)
Wednesday 11/12 and Thursday 11/13
Objective: I will be able to analyze how appeals are used in an allegory and how fallacies contribute
to rhetoric.
1. Animal Farm Quick Write in Warm up Spirals
2. Read Animal Farm Chapter 5 + Complete Study Guide
3. Work on Persuasive Fallacy Depiction Assignment
Homework: Finish Persuasive Fallacy Depiction if necessary
Friday 11/14
Objective: I will be able to analyze a piece of rhetoric and respond to it in short answer format.
1. Warm up: Reciprocal Pronouns Practice

3. Read LBJ’s Address to Congress + Guided Annotation
4. Begin Short Answer Response
Homework: Finish SAR if necessary (turn in on Monday- minor grade)
