Organization
 Organization will be a big part of 5th grade! We will be
working hard to help students prepare for middle school by
ensuring students maintain an organized binder.
 Take Home Folder: This folder is used to bring home notices,
practice papers and graded work. Please review papers
with your child and return the folder empty at the
beginning of each week day.
 Homework Folder: As an organizational piece, we added a
Homework Folder in the binders. Students can slip in and
take out their daily homework easily without fussing with the
rings.
Homework Policy
 Homework should be recorded by the student in
their assignment book. If there is no homework
for a subject, students should write “none”.
