This is a special note to all students: Stallions, as you know by now, the weather is beginning
to turn colder and may we place emphasis on all Stallions should dress appropriately. The
heat has been turned on in the building, so wearing layers is the best suggestion. Be warm!

From the desk of Principal Dimmick: Due to the high percentage of rain forecast for Thursday,
we are rescheduling our PTSA Fitness Fun Day to this Friday, November 20th, 2015.

FRIDAY IS OUR NEXT SPIRIT DAY! Keep listening, w will share a special note from Principal
Dimmick on Spirit Day, this coming Friday.

The BEST Buck store will be closed today (Wednesday) and tomorrow (Thursday). It will be
open Friday for any students with 5 or more BEST Bucks and a pass.

Attention Minecraft Club: Great News! Our first meeting is on TODAY after school in lab 023.
That’s right! The first meeting of the Minecraft club is Wednesday after school in lab 023. See
you there!

WSLI will be on the airways TOMORROW MORNING. Thursday morning WSLI will share a
special CHARLIE BROWN Thanksgiving Production. You will enjoy!


be A lunch on Friday 11/20/15. If you received a score of 3.5 or lower, you should strongly

O. k. WE MADE IT TO OUR First Fitness fun Day! FRIDAY is Fitness Fun Day 2015– All Students
will participate during their PE Classes! Running, Dancing and Basketball! It’s time to get your
game on! So, get ready to raise money and compete for fantastic prizes: including gift cards,
iPad mini, tickets to the party of the year and more! Every student who raises $100 or more
gets to go to the “Party of the Year,” after school on Dec 17th – music, food, games, inflatable
money machine, gift cards and more!
We are closer to our goal than ever Stallions! So, keep up the great work! To date,—we have
raised $13,000. Go Stallions! We are $4,000 from our goal of raising $17,000! Send in your
checks made out to the Sligo PTSA. Sligo parents will be in the front hall of school Tuesday and
Thursday morning to collect the envelopes with donations. If you have a Razoo account
remember to fundraise from family and friends!

FROM THE DESK OF OUR PRINCIPAL: The preliminary rounds of the Sligo Geography Bee will
take place this week in Social Studies classes. Final rounds will take place after school in
January. Good luck students!

Also from the desk of our Principal Dimmick: Students, this coming Friday is another Spirit
Day…wear your favorite Sligo Swag to school, or your blue and gold. Help show your school
spirit by participating in our Spirit Day Friday.

Stallions, are you thankful for something? As we approach the Thanksgiving Season, our
Stampede, Sligo’ s Newspaper Team is looking for students who wish to share a special
thanksgiving note in our next edition. We welcome your note on how thankful you are. After
hearing about so many youth were killed in Paris, I’m thankful for life. My fellow Announcers,
all agree that we are thankful for our Moms and Dads. What are you thankful for? Please
share with the Stampede Team.

Once again, this FRIDAY is Fitness Fun Day. Let’s get ready! We are going to have a GREAT
