Work Breakdown Structure Template If you are the Project Manager on a project whose complexity level has been calculated to be Low, Medium or High, you will need to determine the following information in advance for each task required to complete the project and entry into the required Work Breakdown Structure plan in PMIT: 1. The Work Element Number: Begin with 1 and sequentially increment by 1 for each new task. 2. Activity, Task or Subtask: Enter the title of the work task. Try to make this unique and meaningful in the context of other tasks. These do not have to be in chronological order as they can be scheduled that way later. 3. Work Description: Determine a description for each work task required. Enter enough information about the task that someone performing it can understand the requirements and desired result. 4. Responsible Unit: Determine the organizational unit responsible for each task. Select the most accurate one from: a. Technology Services b. Administrative Systems c. User Services d. Application Services e. University Computer Center f. Information Security g. Telecommunications h. Networking Services i.
