Performance Plan Template If you are the Project Manager on a project whose level has been calculated to be High Complexity, you will need to develop a Performance Plan. The Performance Plan establishes the criteria for acceptance by the sponsor. The User Acceptance Document will present the information in the Performance Plan for certification of acceptance. The following information will be needed for the Performance Plan in PMIT: 1. Business Objective: Describe the performance goal in terms of its business objective. Use terminology familiar to the business unit. 2. Performance Goal: Detail the goal that will be measured. Describe it in terms of defined success and what metrics will be used to evaluate that success. 3. Methodology: How will the performance goal be met. 4. Start Date: When the activities required to achieve the goal will begin. 5. End Date: When the activities required to achieve the goal will end. 6. Responsible Person: The individual on the project team who will led the efforts required to achieve the performance goal. 7. Reports: Describe how progress on achieving the goal will be reported to the sponsor. 8. Deliverable: Detail the specific product or service that will meet the performance goal. 9. Deliverable Description: Describe the deliverable in terms of functionality. 10.Acceptance Criteria: Describe under what conditions the sponsor will accept the above deliverable.
