In both rich and poor countries, questions are being asked about what kind of teacher can improve quality and strengthen equity. In this seminar Professor Akyeampong will present new evidence from UNESCO’s 2013/14 Global Monitoring Report to address four broad questions that are increasingly being asked of teacher education and the teaching profession.
