Students continue to learn basic repair, maintenance and safety practices in plumbing, electrical and carpentry. Students will learn earthquake safety practices, proactive preparation and readiness. The course prepares students for employment in related fields in plumbing, electrical, sheet rock, apartment maintenance and management as well as home inspection. COURSE OBJECTIVES At the completion of the course the student will be able to: Demonstrate advanced skills and safety practices in the repair of basic residential units and maintenance. Demonstrate advanced problem solving skills, safety practices and repair techniques in drywall taping. Demonstrate advanced problem solving skills, safety practices and repair techniques in electrical applications.
