COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course provides advanced experience in all phases of collision repair emphasizing on painting and
refinishing while allowing the student to focus on their career goal. Students will continue to add to the
ICAR Education Edition Professional Development Program Pro Level 2 and 3.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the completion of the course the student will be able to:

Continue with the SP2 safety tests
Perform spray gun operation and repairs without difficulty
Perform with all forms of coatings including ordering for depleted stock
Perform preparation steps with limited difficulty
Demonstrate the ability to choose proper paint coating and procedure
Demonstrate ability to repair equipment in the middle of a job
Perform color application steps
Demonstrate a written plan using the damage report
Perform the application of special effects color on a live project or simulated
Explain and teach the final detail steps to a first year student
