Bursary for UK PhD Students and Early Career Researchers to Participate in the 6th EuCheMS Chemistry Congress Terms of application 1. Applicants must be members of the Royal Society of Chemistry and based in the UK/Republic of Ireland. 2. Grants are available to PhD students and post-doctoral researchers within 10 years of completion of a PhD. However, appropriate consideration will be given to those who have taken career breaks or followed different study paths. 3. This bursary may be used for travel to and from the Congress, accommodation and subsistence. It cannot be used for social activities or for any activities unrelated to the EuCheMS Chemistry Congress. 4. Preference will be given to applicants who will give a poster or an oral presentation at the Congress. 5. Where relevant, the applicant should submit their oral or poster abstract(s) as part of their application. 6. Where possible, the participant should acknowledge support from the Royal Society of Chemistry in their presentation. 7. The bursary will be paid on successful application. Applicants should submit a financial report detailing how the funds were spent. Any unused funds remaining after attendance of the Congress should be returned to the Royal Society of Chemistry. 8. We request that a brief report be submitted after the conference, outlining the benefits to you from participating in the meeting. 9. Applications must be received by 7 June 2016 – late applications may not be considered.
