We have an immediate need for Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) in
our Reno, Nevada location (full-time, part-time, per diem positions available)
Job Description
NaphCare is seeking Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) to work at the Washoe County Jail in Reno,
Nevada. We have full-time, weekends (days), and per diem positions available.
Position Requirements:
NaphCare LCSWs are responsible for providing mental health care within the scope of their license in the
mental health unit of the facility. The successful candidate must hold and maintain a current, unrestricted
license in the state of employment, as well as a valid CPR card, with a minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience
in a mental health care setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred. Must have knowledge and
experience in the identification and treatment of mental health and co-occurring substance abuse disorders,
discharge planning, principles of social work, basic principles of individual and group behavior, and a working
knowledge of psychotropic medications. This position is 8 hour shifts during the week.
