Subject: Import Ramp Limit Change
Based on a capability study performed for the Seams Managment Working Group, and annouonced
yesterday in the Market Subcommitteee, MISO will be adjusting its maximum allowable quarter hour NSI
change of Import availability to 1000 MW. The export capability will remain at 500 MW.
With this change, MISO will allow each quarter hour of Interchange Scheduling to increase its Import
capability by 1000MW, a change from the current limit of 700MW.
This change will be effective as of 00:00 on December 19, 2011. The change of availability will be added
at 11:00AM today. All times are Eastern Standard.
