Job Title Job Description Manager, T&D Planning, Engineering & Budgets Responsible for the short term and long term planning requirements for the Transmission and Distribution system. Determines whether the transmission system can support requested transmission service via direct review of system impact studies. Principal Engineer Responsible for providing engineering and technical support for transmission and distribution-related planning. Engineer Provides engineering and technical support for the operation of T&D System. Provides engineering analysis and studies supporting T&D operation and construction, standards, relay, and other engineering functions, as assigned. Reviews and investigates T&D System impact of transmission service requests. Responsible for the 24/7 operation of GMP system for Transmission, Substation, Generation and Distribution ties. This includes area waterways and water storage facilities. Associated power accounting, coordinator reporting, operational procedures and compliance responsibilities are included. Responsible for scheduling and coordination of planned system outages to ensure security, safety, economics, generation production scheduling, long-range production planning and market strategy. Responsible for day-to-day operations of power system. Responsible for continuity of service throughout the company from its interconnections with other companies to the customer’s service. In most cases this responsibility ends at the distribution substations, but is not limited to the substation equipment. Administers local and regional transmission tariffs in compliance with FERC. Serves as the Company’s primary OASIS Administrator. Provides support to resource planning, efficiency data exchange and rates analyses. Serves as the Company’s secondary OASIS Administrator.
