Revise your review from the assignment “Write a review-I” now that you have more polymer
knowledge under your belt. You will again be graded according to:
 Constructiveness of the comments—do they help the writer?
 Fairness of the conclusions—based on your comments, did you select an appropriate
“thumbs-up” or “thumbs-down” box, make good recommendations, etc.?
 Logic—did you find appropriate fault with the manuscript and present your case in a
clear, concise, organized fashion?
 Mechanics—how correct are your grammar, spelling, indentations?
 Style—did you manage to use words, figures, etc. effectively, in a memorable way?
In addition, provide a well-written, concise one-page essay delineating what you learned from the
manuscript (or proposal) reviewing process. Your document should include a self-assessment of
the improvements you made since Write a Review-I and any other observations about the
reviewing process. Grading will be based on:
 Organization
 Clarity
 Conciseness
 Thematic coherence (statement, exposition, close-the-loop)
 Mechanics
 Style
