Dear Colleagues,
There is a need for the retail shop at St Luke's to close for a period of up to a year whilst works are
carried out to the South Cloisters building. The shop will close on the last day of term the 13th
December.
During the period that the shop is closed, shop services will be relocated and provided from Cloisters
cafe.
Cloisters will reopen after the Christmas vacation on the 2nd January, with revised term time
opening hours of 8am until 5pm, Monday to Friday. During vacation we may revert to 8am - 3.30pm
this is yet to be agreed.
Cloisters cafe will offer their normal excellent fare of hot meals, salads, snacks, teas and coffees, cold
drinks and confectionery. In addition Cloisters will be stocking a selection of newspapers, milk,
sandwiches, crisps, a range of stationery items and St Luke's memorabilia and clothing. We will in
addition add to this range of shop items if we receive requests for other goods.
We are also hopeful of resurrecting the cash back facility and continuing the ordering of stationery
on account for the departments at St Luke's that require this service.
