To deepen skills, reinforce prior learning
and make links to new learning. Build in
opportunity for participants to share
data or ideas with others to support
cross community learning. Keeps focus
on student learning.
Tools:
Graphic Organizer- Travel Partners or
Quadrant Partners or Pair-Share
Time:
5 minutes of preparation or set-up
-Develop a topic
-Process, Data, Teamwork
5-10 minutes of student pair-share time
10-15 minutes of student report
-Out to the group
Considerations:
 Select a topic that might “raise the bar” of the Process
Skill, Data, or Team effort
 Consider giving advanced notice “On _____ we will team
up and discuss _____”
 Identify the essential concepts, topic or words
