Activity:
Interactive Lecture
Objective:
To Convey or review new content.
Engage participants in the learning and
the presenting of the content. This can
be used with the entire group or as a
small team activity
Tools:
Graphic Organizer – Whenever possible.
Students could use their class notes (a
space for students to write their
development and what is presented).
Create prompt questions or sections of
content you want to review.
Time:
10-15 Minutes of preparation or set-up.
Approximately 3 minutes per rotation of
content idea (2 minutes for teams to
present, one minute between teams – set
up time).
Considerations:
 Be clear with instructions – Use Quadrant Partners,
Travel Partners or set up small teams.
 Give time for teams to develop their presentations or
information
 Set a time limit and keep the activity moving
