VISUAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
1.
There are three age division:
a. Junior (8-10 years of age as of January 1)
b. Intermediate (11-13 years of age as of January 1)
c. Senior (14-18 years of age as of January 1)
2. Length of visual presentation:
a. Junior & Intermediates (5-10 minutes)
b. Seniors (10-15 minutes)
3. A team of two 4-H’ers is acceptable. The age of the oldest 4-H’er determines the age of the
team.
4. Participants must furnish all their own equipment and supplies. No kitchen facilities are
available, so bring all small appliances, extension cords, towels, utensils, etc.
5. The 4-H Office will supply easels for your posters.
6. The Maryland State Fair offers an opportunity to present your visual presentation (food and all
other project areas) during the fair. The program is called: 4-H Presents! Details can be found in
the State Fair 4-H entry system online.
