Dear wonderful parents and guardians of MSN choir students,
First and foremost, I wanted to let you know how honored I am to be here at Middle School North
working with your children. On a daily basis I get to walk into an amazing room of students that are
encouraging, respectful and eager to work hard and develop their amazing talents. It is a pleasure every
day.
I wanted to highlight the upcoming events or activities for the next month. I will need a plethora of
volunteers. I am hoping to find a different leader for each event. It would limit the amount of e-mails for
organizing different events.
The List!!
1. Tuesday After School Singing Group- This past week we started an after school singing group.
The group allows for a more involved and in depth look at music. It also allows for all ages to
create music together.
2. Friday, December 16th – Grade School Tour - 7/8th Grade and After School Groups will perform
for the elementary tour
a. I will need about 4-6 Chaperones. Please let me know if you would be interested.
3. Monday, December 19th – Holiday Concert – All choirs at MSN.
a. I need one parent leader to organize refreshments afterwards!! I have many volunteers
for treats. Please let me know if you are interested.
Upcoming Events
Saturday, January 21st – Wolves Trip – open to all must. Student must be able to come to one or
two afterschool rehearsals. We will leave from Middle School South (chaperones will be needed)
Saturday, February 18 – Solo Ensemble Contest – 7th and 8th Graders only
