Andrew Burke Director of the Bettany Centre, Cranfield School of Management Professor Andrew Burke is the founder and Director of the Bettany Centre for Entrepreneurial Performance and Economics at Cranfield University. The Centre manages all of the School of Management’s entrepreneurship activities including executive education, research, graduate programmes, technology transfer and networking/practitioner events. Andrew is also the Director of Graduate Programmes and a member of the Executive at Cranfield School of Management. Professor Burke publishes research extensively on entrepreneurial finance, strategy and performance in some of the leading international journals including the Harvard Business Review, the Journal of Management Studies, Regional Studies, the International Journal of Industrial Organization, Small Business Economics, and the Oxford Bulletin of Economics & Statistics. The research findings have been featured in the media including BBC (Breakfast Television & the Working Lunch) as well as national broadsheets such as the Sunday Times. Andrew has acted as a consultant for organisations such as the European Commission, Business Link UK, GESAC (EU), Forbairt (the Irish Industrial Development Authority IDA), Hudson, Schlumberger, Selex-Galileo, GCI UK, Bank of Ireland International Banking, and the Irish Music Rights Organisation.
