Notes:
It is 300 million years old. Its earliest stellar types are B8 and A0, and 101 members
are known. The brightest star is 10.6m.
It lies 31,000 light years from the galactic center and just below its plane.
Observations:
C8 at 83x. It contains many blue stars and chains of stars. There is a dominant 7m Y
star 5 min SW. This is a rich, fine object. Dean Williams describes its shape as like a
"Valentine's heart" with a "tail" extending from the bottom, at the end of which lies a
bright star. Inside the heart, he says, is a butterfly shaped hole. This hole is noted by
observers with 20" scopes.
C11 at 115x. A nice splattering of faint stars. A 9m W star lies on the SE edge. A
straggling chain trails off to the SE. A trapezoid occupies the center. About 36 stars
altogether.

Its diameter would be 6,570 miles and its stars would be 935 miles apart.
