Star A is a spectroscopic binary and is 2.9 times the Sun's diameter, 4.7 times its
mass. It is an eclipsing binary (an Algol System) with a 19.3 day period. The “a” star is
4.7 times the Sun's diameter, 1.9 times its mass. These stars are 6.5 million miles apart
and swing about each other in a 2.5 day orbit. There is mass transfer in the system.
