If so, please summarize how and why in the boxes below: In Spring 2015, it was decided to assess Outcome # 2 to focus on the oral skills of the students participating in an oral interview based on their own essay, written as an assignment for SPAN 227 in the spring semester 2015, about the Hispanic identity and how the Hispanic group contributes to the American culture. This was a projection made in the last assessment of SPAN 227 for the Academic Year 2008/2009. A total of tO students from SPAN 227 participated in an interview one-on-one with the instructor. An assessment tool containing ten questions was used for the assessment. At a 90% accuracy response of the core indicators used for the interview, the levels for SPAN 227 are well above average and therefore an effort should be made to maintain such percentages. The participants showed the natural nervousness about having to speak in public, but I am certain that was due to their lack of experience_ I believe it would be highly beneficial to get the students involved in regular interviews throughout the Students will be able to demonstrate their acquired knowledge by earning a 70% or above through examination, which will prove their ability to write, read, interpret and understand at an advanced level.
