He is the author of Performance at the Limit: Business Lessons from Formula One Motor Racing, Advanced Strategic Management and The Customer Centred Strategy. Prior to joining Cranfield he held positions at Nottingham University Business School, Massey Ferguson Ltd and the Lex Service Group. Frequently sought after for commentary by major media outlets, Dr John Glen is the author of several papers relating to competition policy and deregulation. John has recently completed a sector risk assessment for a European Bank and has produced a report on Scottish Licensing Law which formed part of the British Entertainment and Discotheque Association’s (BEDA) response to the Home Office White Paper on Licensing Law Reform in England and Wales. John has a BSc in Economics from the University of Wales, an MSc in Economics from the University of Salford and a PhD from Tilburg University, The Netherlands.
