Bearing Practice Individual Data Sheet
Write down each bearing you take.
After class assess your accuracy by comparing your bearings to the class averages. This works
reasonably well because random human error tends to average out.
Record your bearings as accurately as possible. A common error is to convince yourself of a
specific number, then keep accidentally getting this number, only to be discredited later by the
larger data set.
