Partisan Politics and Redistribution in the Era of Globalization (advanced book project) GRANTS AND AWARDS Fletcher Jones Foundation Grant ($7,350) 2014-­‐15 Claremont Graduate University Book project, titled Partisan Politics and Redistribution in the Era of Globalization. Based on the International Labor Organization’s International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO-­‐88) and Trade in Valued Added (TiVA) database, I coded respondents’ job exposure to exports and imports, and identified their ideological positions using data from the International Social Survey Program. BLAIS Challenge Fund Award ($32,000) 2010-­‐12 Claremont Graduate University Project title: “Government Responses to Financial Crises: Identifying Patterns and Policy Origins.” We collected comprehensive information on four different types of financial crises from 1971 to 2008: banking (91 cases), currency (115 cases), sovereign debt (39 cases), and twin crises (29 cases). We have produced three papers (one under review) with this dataset. Nominated for the Robert H. Durr Award 2011 Award is given for the best paper applying quantitative methods to a substantive problem at the annual meeting of the Midwest Political Science Association, Chicago, Illinois, March 31-­‐
