Abstract
Chinese ATM market is growing rapidly. China's number of ATM rose
from 301,000 sets in 2010 to 369,000 sets at the end of 2011. The
number of networked ATM was 338,000 sets in 2011, up 24.7%.
In recent years, Chinese ATM market has experienced rapid growth,
every million people had 265 sets of ATM at the end of 2011, up over
100% from 104 sets at the end of 2007. However, in the world, every
million people have 343 sets averagely; in developed countries, every
million people have 1,450 sets. Therefore, Chinese ATM market still

GRG is the largest ATM producer and seller in China. In
2011, GRG sold 17,500 sets of ATM in China, with 23.3%
market share, ranking first in terms of sales volume in
Chinese ATM market for the fourth consecutive year.
Hitachi has nearly 30 years of experience in ATM production,
and its core components are used by the majority of Chinese
local manufacturers. In recent years, Hitachi has been
developing rapidly in China. In 2011, Hitachi sold 14,000 sets
of ATM in China, up 4,000 sets year on year, ranking second
with 18.67% market share.
NCR is a traditional ATM manufacturer. In 2011, it ranked
third in China with the sales volume of 12,000 sets and 16%
market share. At the end of 2011, NCR transferred part of the
ATM production from China to Georgia, United States.
